ASK A QUESTION
How far ahead should I book?
Reach out as soon as the date is known. Lead time depends on the service, facility, venue, equipment, and production scope. Availability is confirmed only after review.
Does City Phase Audio have a studio location?
No company-owned studio is represented. Support is provided at partner studios, booked facilities, or client-selected locations. See Studio Services for the facility model.
Do I need to provide a venue or studio?
For studio work, bring a booked facility or discuss partner-studio requirements. For live work, identify the venue and production contact before the final plan. Review Studio Services or Live Sound for the relevant scope.
How should I prepare for a recording session?
Start with the session goal, performer count, instrumentation, references, and any existing files. The Studio Services scopes list what each service needs.
What recording formats are supported?
Pro Tools-based recording workflows are supported. Sample rate, bit depth, session format, exports, and delivery needs are confirmed during planning and can be included in the booking request.
What information is needed for a live event?
Start with the venue, date, run of show, performance type, performer count, existing system, monitor needs, and any available stage or input documents. Live Sound lists the requirements for each type of event coverage.
Who coordinates equipment?
Responsibilities depend on the location and service. Review the equipment sections in Studio Services or Live Sound; rentals or added equipment are included only after scope review.
How are files delivered?
Are revisions included?
Editing and revisions are not assumed. When needed, they are defined in the quote. See Pricing for the factors that shape scope.
Are deposits required? What about cancellations?
Deposit, rescheduling, cancellation, and refund terms belong in the booking agreement. A website request does not hold a date. Review Booking Policy.
Is travel available?
Travel can be discussed for New York-area and select out-of-area work. Distance, access, transport, timing, and lodging when applicable are quote factors.
Is service available in Spanish?
Yes. Project planning and production communication are available in English and Spanish.
